Through our Girl’s Night Out in partnership with local hospitals, Lots of Love has been able to provide an educational night free to thousands of women, collaborate with hundreds of businesses, and provide dozens of free mammograms. This event accomplishes one of our core goals: to bring screening awareness and medical exposure to women in a fun, relaxing environment so taking care of their health feels a little less intimidating.
Our balloon deliveries are where Lots of Love began. During our grandmother’s battle with cancer, she asked that the balloons from her hospital room be given to other patients who had none. One week later, after she passed away, her remaining balloons were shared again.
Her cancer journey taught our family that it takes lots of love to get through cancer, and that became the inspiration for our nonprofit. Today, we honor her life and legacy of service through our balloon deliveries, with more than 700 balloons delivered in her memory.
We are proud to provide a tree to Primary Children’s annual Festival of Trees event. Through our donations, Lots of Love has raised over $10,000 for childhood cancer research and treatment.
Lots of Love’s monthly drop-offs have been around from the start. Since our founding, we have provided thousands of gift donations to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in our community. We aim to give joy and comfort with our drop-offs specifically designed to alleviate the effects of cancer treatment.
